  • ICOMES support the Travel Grants for one author per an accepted abstract.
  • * All timelines are based on KST (UTC+9).
  • * Late-breaking abstracts may not be eligible for Travel Grants.

Steps to Apply for Travel Grants

  • Submit the abstract
    through the website.

  • Receive notification
    of abstract selection.

  • Fill in the Application
    Form and Submit It via
    the Following Online
    Application Link

  • Receive a Notification of the
    Status Result of the Travel
    Grant via Personal Email.
    (Acceptance or Rejection).

  • Participate
    in ICOMES 2025

Travel Grant for Domestic Participants

MD Non-MD
Eligibility - Holder of a Medical License
- Acceptor of an Abstract
- Member of the Korean Society for the Study of Obesity (KSSO)
- Participant from regions outside Seoul/Incheon/Gyeonggi (excluding these areas)
- Non-MD (Nutrient / Exercise/ etc.)
- Acceptor of an Abstract
- Participant from regions outside Seoul/Incheon/Gyeonggi (excluding these areas)
Support Amount Provided according to KRPIA/KPBMA fair trade regulations KRW 300,000 (Including tax)
Support Period ~ June 19 (Thu.)

Remark

Travel grants for Domestic Participants are available to individuals who are based on their affiliation, excluding those based in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi-do.

For Domestic Participants, payment will be processed by wire-transfer after the congress.

• Presenters participating in 'Oral presentation' or 'Guided Poster presentation' must successfully complete their presentation to be eligible for travel grants.

• Proxy receipt or duplicate receipt is prohibited on-site.

Awards

  • • Outstanding oral and poster presentations will be recognized and awarded during the closing ceremony.
  • • The winners will be notified individually of the results, and their attendance at the closing ceremony is mandatory.
